First was the bench. This is where he keeps all the kids school work from previous and current school years. Its was this plain burlap before and we felt that the script pattern fit in good with feel of the room. It adds a different texture for sure. I think it contrasts well with the black finish in the wood part and ties in the rest of the brown fabrics in the room.
*Sorry I forgot to take a before picture. But here is the finished product

After waiting a week for the fabric we ordered to come in, I started breaking down the bar stools. That was the hardest part. I literally thought my fingers were going to fall off. The staples were a royal 'pain' to get off and it was the longest part. After that I got a good feel for how to get it just right.

This is an up close picture of the fabric. Loved this pattern as an accent fabric because most of the seating in the breakfast area is brown. Whereas when you look at the barstool you also see the back of the roll top chairs. ( As seen in the bottom picture)

So this is what it looks like when you walk in:
This is has the makings of a new hobby of mine now. Still trying to find the right fabric to recover the head board for our guess/ girls room. Who knows how long that will take to decide, but I think I have something in mind. What do you think about a Coral and white swirl?
